FAQ

Pricing questions

Do credits roll over month to month?+

No. Credits reset monthly and unused credits do not roll over into the next cycle.

Can I switch between Starter, Pro, Growth, and Scale?+

Yes. Moving to a higher-rank monthly paid plan is available from the subscription area when checkout is enabled. Lower-plan and billing-cycle changes are available after the current paid period ends.

Which plans include webhooks?+

Starter includes API access without webhooks. Pro, Growth, and Scale include API access plus signed completion webhooks.

Do you charge overages if I run out of credits?+

No. DocuShell uses hard credit limits and does not auto-charge overages. API requests can return 402 until you upgrade, renew, or wait for the monthly reset.

How are failed API calls billed?+

Authentication failures, validation failures, rate-limit rejections, and requests rejected before queueing do not deduct credits. If an internal worker fails after credits are reserved, the refund path is designed to return those credits idempotently.

What happens during my annual period if I want a different plan?+

Cancel at period end, then choose a lower plan or different billing cycle after access expires. Support can help review special billing issues.

Why is non-IN checkout temporarily limited?+

USD payment capture and webhook settlement are being verified end to end before public non-IN checkout is reopened.

Do you offer refunds for unused credits?+

Unused credits do not roll over or refund automatically. Unused paid purchases may be reviewed within 7 days under the Refund Policy.

What happens to my Free plan if I exceed 500 credits?+

Server-powered work stops until credits reset. Browser tools remain available because they do not require API credits.
